Up

On October 19th, Robert, Helen and René had the opportunity to go up to the top of the Gherkin at the invitation of Jennifer who works there.

It was a rare privilege and much was made of it.  Although we could not get to the restaurant, we were allowed to use the 38th floor which turned out to be even better as we had the viewing gallery to ourselves.

The views across London were quite spectacular.  We had a great day out thanks to Jennifer.  We rounded the day by having a Turkish meal at Haz a restaurant nearby on Jennifer's recommendation.
